Health Education Exhibition & Resource Centre
Interactive
This motion-sensing game was specially designed for Health Education Lane to promote public hygiene awareness through interactive play. Set within a predefined area at the venue, the game allows up to three participants to play simultaneously. Players stand in front of the 200 inch LED display wall and raise their hands to activate the game. Once inside, they take on the role of hygiene inspectors tasked with identifying and capturing behaviors and objects that harm the cleanliness of the environment.
Each round lasts 30 seconds, during which players move left and right within the designated space to “catch” targets displayed on the screen. Points are awarded for successfully capturing items or actions that represent poor hygiene practices, such as littering or improper waste disposal. However, catching unrelated or harmless objects results in a point deduction, encouraging players to think carefully and act quickly. Special bonus points are awarded when players catch the Ambassador Ah Tak, which appears randomly and offers double the score.
At the end of each round, the game displays the individual scores of all participants, adding a competitive and engaging element to the experience. The game is designed to be intuitive and fun, making it suitable for players of all ages. By combining physical movement with educational content, it effectively raises awareness about environmental hygiene in a memorable and impactful way.
This game not only entertains but also reinforces important public health messages, making it a valuable tool for outreach and education at public events.
